Matcha Green Tea Latte

A classic hot drink and a wonderful alternative to cappuccino to naturally boost your focus and energy levels.

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon Matcha Focus
  • 60 ml water
  • 200 ml plant-based or cow's milk
  • 1 tsp honey or agave syrup (optional)

 

Method:

1. Add 1 teaspoon of Matcha Focus to a cup or matcha bowl.
2. Heat the water to 80°C and slowly pour it into the cup. Stir well with a whisk, a bamboo whisk or a small spoon for about 3 seconds. You'll know it’s done when the tea becomes frothy and there’s no chunks of matcha powder in the water. Make sure the water only reaches 80°C and does not boil. Boiling water scorches the matcha powder, which makes it taste bitter.
4. Froth up your favorite (plant-based) milk with an electric whisk or milk frother.
5. Pour the milk foam over the Matcha Focus water and sweeten with a little honey or agave syrup if required.
