Cocoa Crinkle Cookies

A quick & simple christmas cookie for chocolate lovers! The best way to start your Christmas baking with your ORI blends.



Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp Cocoa Breeze
  • 40 g baking cocoa (unsweetened)
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 120 g flour
  • 60 ml canola oil
  • 170 g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 100 g icing sugar

 

Method:



1. Whisk together the baking cocoa, nutmeg, baking powder, salt and flour in a bowl.
2. With a hand mixer, whisk together the canola oil and sugar, then add the Cocoa Breeze and mix well again.
3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract and mix again.
4. Now add the flour mixture and mix well one last time.
5. Cover the bowl and place the dough in the fridge overnight (approx. 8 hours).
6. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees (fan oven) and line a baking tray with baking paper.
7. Using 2 small spoons, form small balls with the chilled dough and roll them in the icing sugar.
8. Bake for approx. 12 minutes. Remove from the oven and leave to cool on a wire rack.
