Cocoa Brownies

Cocoa Brownies

Delicious brownies with a superfood upgrade included. They taste delicious and feel good too.

 

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp Cocoa Breeze
  • 200 g of dark chocolate
  • 200 g of butter
  • 150 g of sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 tbsp all purpose flour

 

Method:

    1. Melt the chocolate and butter in a water bath or the microwave
    2. Add sugar and Cocoa Breeze Superfood blend and gently stir in with a whisk
    3. Crack the eggs and separate into two bowls
    4. Beat the egg whites until stiff with a hand mixer
    5. Pour the egg yolks into the chocolate once it has cooled to lukewarm and stir well.
    6. Sift over the flour.
    7. Gradually add the egg whites and carefully fold them in with a spatula.
    8. Line a rectangular baking tin with baking paper, pour in the chocolate batter and bake in the oven at 180 degrees (convection) for 18 – 25 minutes.
    9. Remove from the oven, cut into pieces and serve lukewarm or cold.
