Green freshness in spring & summer. This iced matcha green tea latte is the perfect alternative to iced coffee when you need a quick and healthy refreshment on hot days. With no sugars, no cream and no jitters, you get a natural energy boost without any side effects.
You'll only need 5 ingredients and 2 minutes for this delicious recipe.
Ingredients:
- 1 tsp Matcha Focus
- 60 ml water
- ice cubes
- 200 ml plant-based or cow's milk
- 1 tsp honey or agave syrup (optional)
Method:
1. Add 1 tsp Matcha Focus to a cup or small bowl.
2. Slowly pour the water over the powder. Stir well with a whisk, a bamboo whisk or a small spoon for about 3 seconds. You'll know it’s done when the tea becomes frothy and there’s no chunks of matcha powder in the water.
3. If you want to add a sweeter taste to your iced matcha green tea latte, now add the honey or agave syrup (both go really well with the drink) to the matcha and water mix.
4. Fill a glass with ice cubes and pour in the plant-based or cow's milk.
5. Slowly pour the Matcha Focus water mix on top and stir with a straw.
Tip: You can also froth your plant-based or cow's milk a little before pouring it over the ice cubes. Cold milk may not froth up quite as perfectly as warm milk, but if you froth it up just a little and sprinkle a pinch of Matcha Focus powder on top at the end, your Iced Matcha Latte will look stunning.
